| Want To Be A Drummer? |

 |
| Nearly everyone I speak to wants to be a drummer. This is usually because they have
never tried. They see the drummer up on the stage, sitting behind a kit of drums that
sparkle and shine under stage lighting. What they do not realise is that a lot of time and
practice has gone into getting this far. This statement even applies to the most junior of
bands. Drummers will tell you that, even after 25 years, there is still something new that
will need practising. |
| |
| As a teacher I have had many drummers come to me saying “I bought the so and so tutor, but can’t make any sense out of it”. I must admit that I do agree with them. Some are very difficult to understand. With this in mind I have written "The Drummer's Textbook" (A Beginners Guide To Drumming). This starts at the very beginning using a well-tried and trusted method. |
